“Once Upon a Time” is planning on bringing the ice on Season 4. If you can still recall, the Season 3 finale showed us a sneak peek of Elsa coming out, and it looks like it is not only Elsa who’s coming to Storybrooke. We are about to welcome new “Frozen” characters that will definitely make the show even more exciting. Read on to learn more about it.

Casting for the ice queen, Elsa, is underway so is for her sister Anna and ice merchant Kristoff. It was also confirmed that Queen Elsa will be seen in more or less nine episodes while the others a bit less. We wonder what roles Anna and Kristoff will play aside from the obvious?

As for Olaf, the show bosses have no comment regarding this, but since “Once Upon a Time” has a knack for surprising their viewers, we think that there’s a possibility that we might see our favorite snowman who, apparently, loves summer.

Now, for the story of these new “Frozen” characters coming to “Once Upon a Time,” they won’t stray too far from their original story, which means that Elsa is still afraid to hurt the person she loves the most, her sister, and she will also cast an eternal winter in Arendelle. Anna will still be Anna, the impulsive and perky sister who values her relationship with her sister above everything else. Then she will meet Kristoff, whom she will fall in love with. These characters will then adjust to a life outside Arendelle.

In an interview with E! News, Adam Horowitz, co-creator of “Once Upon a Time,” said that they will not redo the movie. However, he clarified that they could not reveal yet what they are going to do.

“Well, it’s funny, we’re not going to redo the movie because we just don’t feel like it’s in anyone’s interest for us to redo it. But what we are going to do, we’re not ready to tell you. but what we can say is we’re very aware of what we think makes this character from ‘Frozen’ so special and we want to honor that and make sure that we do is in the universe of everyone fell in love with this past year,” said Horowitz in the E! News report.
