Once Upon a Time Season 4 Recap: Fall
The Once Upon A Time cast speaking at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.

The Spell of Shattered Sight is upon the residents of Storybrooke. Will they be able to stop Ingrid from casting the spell? Read to find out what happened on “Once Upon a Time” Season 4 Episode 10 “Fall.”

A lot of things were revealed about Arendelle and the sisters. Finally, Anna and Kristoff were thawed, but so as Prince Hans and the rest of his crew. Their next plan was to find the Wishing Star. Thankfully, Anna read her mom’s diary and found that the object is in possession of the pirate Black Beard. Their next move was to go to Black Beard, and just like Anna pointed out, they have the wealth to make the pirate hand over the Wishing Star, and it seemed like such a good plan until Prince Hans beat them to it — they’ve forgotten the fact that he’s on the loose, and he’s royalty too.

In turn, they got captured by Black Beard and got imprisoned in a trunk that will be sent out to sea. During their capture, we found out a lot of juicy stuff. We learned that Black Beard has met Anna and Elsa’s parents, and he was the one who sold them the Wishing Star. It has also been revealed that their parents couldn’t make use of the Wishing Star because it will only obey the purest of heart, and Black Beard was using Hook’s ship as of the moment. The biggest revelation this season so far that we didn’t see coming was that they have all been frozen for 30 years, which means that all of that happened during a time that was paralleled to modern-day Storybrooke.

There was too much information to absorb, and Anna and Kristoff weren’t able to process every thing because they all got sent under the sea.

In Storybrooke, everyone was preparing themselves for the spell that’s about to come. There was Rumple who’s trying to negotiate with Ingrid, telling her that he won’t kill her if she allows Belle, him and Henry to leave town. On the other hand, there was Charming who’s trying his best to break the ice wall but failed, while Snow was still making plans with Grumpy. Regina and Robin were making out and exchanging sad looks at each other, and Belle was on a roll, researching on how they could stop the curse. She found out that the hair of someone who’s been struck by the curse before would be able to save them. But who? Of course, it was none other than Anna.

Elsa found Anna’s snowflake necklace, and this could help her locate her sister. She and Emma were able to track Anna somehow. The fairies were trying to come up with an antidote to save the town, but since Rumple was already taken to safety, he needed more powers to set off town. He’s going to need the power of the fairies.

Emma didn’t want to break the wall because it would separate Elsa from Anna. Instead, she made the dwarves dig their way through, but this would take a lot of time. The fairies discovered that they can make a sort of vaccine that can protect people from the curse through Anna’s necklace, but Elsa didn't want to give it up.

And just when she’s about to, she blasted the hole in the wall and found a beach in front of them, which was weird. “I just wish… I wish you were here with me now,” said Elsa.

Just like that, Anna and Kristoff resurfaced in the ocean. It turned out that the snowflake necklace was the Wishing Star! Then the Spell of Shattered Sight was cast, while the sisters were protected from it. It’s time to plan their attack to stop Ingrid. And as for Regina and Robin, Regina locked herself up in her vault to keep herself in. This scene gave a lot of feels.
