As expected for new TV shows, most viewers rely on reviews to know if a show is worth watching. Sadly for “One Big Happy,” it received low ratings from various review sites. Metacritic only gave it 37 percent, 5.8 out of 10 for IMDb and a depressing 18 percent from Rotten Tomatoes.  On the other hand, IGN predicted a 50/50 chance of renewal because of positive-negative critics. The site added that NBC “had a disastrous year” for their comedy lineup. Hopefully, the unlikely trio of a straight guy, a straight woman and a lesbian could regain NBC’s comedy slate.

“One Big Happy” airs every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
