“One Tree Hill” may have ended in 2012, but the story of Peyton, Haley, Brooke, Nathan and Lucas has remained in the hearts of many fans. With recent remakes of hit TV series such as “Fuller House,” fans were left wondering if the series would return on the small screen. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
If you have missed watching your favorite characters from “One Tree Hill,” then it looks like good news is coming your way! HollywoodLife.com reported that Bryan Greenberg, who played Jake Jagielski in The CW series, seemingly hinted that a reunion may happen in a few years’ time.
“You never know,” Greenberg hinted and laughed it off.
While Greenberg’s reply did not seem to confirm at all if a reunion was definitely in the works, fans remained hopeful that “One Tree Hill” will be back on TV for another season. Other fans believed that if the show gets renewed for another season, the series should still cast the same characters, which brought the series to life since it first aired in 2003.
If there will be a “One Tree Hill” reunion, then fans should be able to see Hilarie Burton back as Peyton Sawyer, Bethany Joy Lenz as Haley James Scott and Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis. Of course, the ladies would not be complete without their onscreen partners, James Lafferty as Nathan Scott and Chad Michael Murray as Lucas Scott.
While The CW is still mum about allegations and speculations that a “One Tree Hill” reunion is in the works, some of the stars are busy with their current projects, which may pose a problem for a new OTH season. According to The Wrap, Lenz is currently starring on the Shona Rhimes show, “The Catch” as Zoe Taylor.
Chad Michael Murray may star in the “Left Behind” movie sequel following his appearance in the movie in 2014 alongside Nicolas Cage and Cassie Thomson. The 33-year-old actor also recently got married to Sarah Roemer and the couple is already expecting their first child.
