Orphan Black has been on air for three years now. The show has gathered a huge fanbase and has created forums that are both interesting and scientifically intriguing. It is definitely one of the most compelling series there is on television recently.
There is really some sort of an ending trend now on television. A lot of TV series are either on its final run or heading to it. One of them is BBC America’s Orphan Black. It was previously reported that the fifth season of the clone-dominated TV series will be its last.
The ratings of Orphan Black substantially declined but still pretty good. However, for a hit TV series like it, it will be better to end it while it is still at the top (or at least somewhere near it). The cancellation of the show is sad news but at least it will be remembered having a storyline that is not dragging.
Just recently, Tatiana Maslany won an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. It was such a well-deserved win and probably the best gift before she ends her run as Sarah Manning.
Orphan Black is a sci-fi drama that follows an orphan named Sarah Manning who eventually discovers that she is one of many clones. In the upcoming final season, HNGN reported that Maslany will be playing eight different roles.
She further said that the finale of the series will satisfy the fans. If it does not, there is definitely something to talk about it afterwards. That clearly implies that although it will be ending, Orphan Black will issue a big cliffhanger. She said at some point, “I know when it’s happening I’m going to be dragging my nails on the ground, [saying] don’t let it be over.”
