“Orphan Black” Season 2 Episode 6 “To Hound Nature in Her Wanderings” Recap:
“Orphan Black” Season 2 Episode 6 “To Hound Nature in Her Wanderings”, which aired on May 24, 2014, was directed by Brett Sullivan and written by Chris Roberts.
Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) continued her search about the real identity of the “Swan Man” with the help of an unlikely ally in her twin sister. Both had been in each other’s throats before until Helena helped her from being tortured by Daniel Rosen (Matthew Bennett). Her search led to Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) and Ethan Duncan (Andrew Gillies), who now goes by the name Andrew Peckman.
Helena, on the other hand, was told by Sarah to stay in the car while she probed inside the church archives. She went into a nearby bar to pass the time. A local trucker named Jesse (Patrick J. Adams) had taken interest in her. Later, the man returned and Helena took her revenge on him, ending up being arrested. The good thing is that her “sister,” Gracie (Zoé de Grand’maison) of the Prolethians, arrived to get her free.
Despite being missing in the episode, Rachel’s work in getting Sarah and her other clones are still in progress. Paul (Dylan Bruce) continued to stalk Sarah. Paul was eventually caught by Mrs. S and tried to threaten him to stop. Ethan, Rachel’s adopted father, said that she was taken by Dr. Leekie (Matt Frewer) and killed his wife, Susan Duncan. Sarah was also informed that they were really part of a project from the military with Project LEDA and DYAD in separate periods.
At the DYAD lab, Cosima’s condition got a bit better when she was given treatment. Unknown to her, the main component of the serum came from Kira (Skylar Wexler). It was hidden from her by Delphine (Evelyn Brochu) and their new co-worker and fellow Berkley student, Scott (Josh Vokey).
Alison continued her journey to a new life in rehab. She also got a chance to meet a new friend in Vic (Michael Mando). She didn’t know that he was actually planted by Detective Angie Deangelis (Inga Cadranel) to get information from her.
