“Orphan Black” Season 2 Episode 7 “Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things” Recap:
“Orphan Black” Season 2 Episode 7 “Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things,” which aired on May 31, 2014, was directed by Ken Girotti and written by Aubrey Nealon.
The episode revolved big time on Alison (Tatiana Maslany), who was the rarely seen clone since she went to rehab. She had previously blabbed about her “sleeping” with her best friend’s husband and killing Aynsley (Natalie Lisinska) to him. Unfortunately, her “friendship” with Sarah’s ex, Vic (Michael Mando) got cut short immediately. She heard that he was actually sent by Detective Angie Deangelis (Inga Cadranel). Now, Alison is in dire need of reinforcement!
Despite the “skilled” assassin issue, Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) had entrusted Ethan Duncan (Andrew Gillies) to her sketchy foster parent, Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy). They had agreed that they must take down Rachel, Leekie and the DYAD. She also had Kira (Skylar Wexler) to be with her biological dad, Cal (Michiel Huisman).
Sarah and Felix (Jordan Gervais) had gone to the rehab to help Alison. It seemed that being skilled and killing runs in the family when Vic immediately died. It was revealed that Felix spiked Vic’s drink. Sarah was left without a choice but to impersonate her sister while Felix and Alison “hide” the evidence.
On the other hand, Leekie has finally got to meet his end. Paul lied about Duncan’s whereabouts and Leekie informed Marian about it. Mrs. S wanted to assure Kira’s safety in exchange of a vital information. Leekie refused and Mrs. S let Paul bring Rachel and Ethan together. Then, Rachel told Leekie and Marian that he is not part of the project anymore.
The “Family Day” at the rehab continued to be a mess. After their ugly role playing, Donnie sees Alison and Sarah together. It was revealed that Donnie didn’t know anything about the clones or the experiments. He immediately confronted Leekie about it and accidentally killed him.

BBC America posted on the official synopsis of the latest “Orphan Black” episode. Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and Kira learned about Cosima’s current state and wanted to help by going straight to the DYAD. Now, it seemed that Sarah’s decision is caught between her daughter’s future and her clone’s life. Can she make a beneficial deal with the organization? Can they save Cosima on time?
Her brainy clone knew that there’s a chance that Kira might be tied to the experiment forever and she refused Delphine (Evelyn Brochu)’s help. Her relationship with her co-worker/lover/monitor has finally become on the rocks. Will they patch up again? What could be Delphine’s reason in helping Cosima? Is she an ally or enemy to the clones?
On the other hand, Felix will have a guest and that he/she would be a “new” player in the complicated world of the clone experiment. It was said that the mysterious person will make Felix panic. Who might this person be? Is it Paul, his lover, or someone from their family’s past?
