“Outlander” ended with the first half of the Season 1 midseason finale, leaving fans with their mouths agape that ended on a cliffhanger. Moreover, the show isn’t returning until next year. Fortunately, there’s a relief somehow for fans who have been anticipating the return of time-traveling Claire. Read on for the full details because we have some good news for you.

According to Entertainment Weekly (EW), the good news is that the show has released its first official teaser trailer on what’s to come next year for the second half of the first season. Danger and uncertainty lie ahead for our lovebirds.

The teaser showed Colum MacKenzie giving a warning to Jamie and Claire, with Claire saying to Jaime, “I never counted on loving you.” That being said, we’re in for a whirlwind of romance. Who knows how Jaime and Claire will get through the second half of the show this season. One thing’s for sure, though, it’s going to be so much better and even more interesting. If they have left us with that huge cliffhanger, we wonder how they’re going to wrap up this season. Exciting times ahead “ Outlander” fans.

Aside from this teaser trailer, Starz will also air a marathon of “Outlander” on Christmas Day. So if you want to relive moments and prepare yourself for what’s to come next, then you should definitely not miss this.
