A new cast member from the world of “witchcraft and wizardry” Hogwarts is coming to “Outlander.” The question is, will she add magic to the lives of people or will she create more destruction to make things harder for Jaime and Claire? Read on.

Ecumenical News reported Frances de la Tour, who is known as a British actress, is joining the cast of “Outlander” Season 2. She is known as Madame Maxine, a half-giantess in the “Harry Potter” films. De la Tour will play the role of Mother Hildegarde, Paris L’Hospital des Agnes’ Mother Superior.

According to recent reports about the upcoming season of the series, Claire will be spending some time in the hospital. It is also based on the novel “Dragonfly in Amber” by Diana Gabaldon. This is where she’ll meet de la Tour’s character.

This great news was announced by the show’s home network, Starz on Twitter, “Frances De La Tour is intelligent and commanding, which is why she’ll make a great Mother Hildegarde! #Outlander.”

Well, she’s not going alone, though because she’ll be joined by Bouton, her dog.
