‘Outlander’ Season 2 Cast King Louis XV: Will He Ruin Things For Jamie and Claire?

A royal is coming to “Outlander” Season 2 and his intentions towards Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) aren’t clear yet. Will he make or break them? Help or hurt them? Who is this royal anyway? Read on.

According to Entertainment Weekly, French actor Lionel Lingelser has been recently cast to join “Outlander” Season 2 as King Louis XV. Since Jaime and Claire are travelling to France and it will be the main set for half of Season 2, they will deal with plenty pf French people, their fashion, politics, culture and of course, their King, King Louis XV.

King Louis XV loves women and as a king, he has to get what he wants. What if he finds Claire appealing for his taste? The king also is known for being ruthless.. It was because he may want hard, but he easily gets tired of it. He ensures that when he does get tired, that person stays out of his way.

Claire and Jaime will encounter the king as they find a way to hide from Black Jack Randall in “Outlander” Season 2. The couple’s plan is to establish themselves in the French court so they could get funds and stop the battle of Culloden. This is not going to be easy and with Claire being pregnant, how will the king take this? Of course, Claire is one pretty lady and the king, known for his taste for the ladies, might just take a liking on her.

Other details about King Louis XV on “Outlander” Season 2 are still being kept under wraps, though. However, we know for sure that he will play a significant role in Jamie and Claire’s life.
