‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe Tease Possible Complications Between Jamie and Claire

In the world of “Outlander,” fans are dying to know who’s going to play Brianna Randall- Jamie and Claire’s daughter. And it looks like we finally know who will…Read On!

Showrunner Ron Moore has recently said that they haven’t found anyone yet to fill in the role of Brianna but a recent announcement has diverted fans when Maeve Foley was said to be joining “Outlander” Season 2, as per Realty Today.

The person who will be playing Brianna is very mysterious. In fact, new characters of “Outlander” Season 2 have already been filled and announced, leaving Brianna’s character open.

However, Foley hasn’t confirmed this yet. “Outlander” will be based on Diana Gabaldon’s second book and indeed, Brianna is described to be in her early 2-s with red hair and distinct blue eyes – and this description perfectly fits Foley.

Brianna will bear Frank’s (Tobias Menzies) last name due to Claire’s situation. It is reported that Frank will raise her in Boston and she will grow up to be a strong-minded American girl, but later on, Jamie’s traits will shine through being the biological father of Brianna.

With the recent addition of Foley in “Outlander” Season 2, it is quite safe to say that all we’re waiting for is confirmation that she will be playing the role of Brianna. This is because in all honesty, all clues point to her. On the other hand, if she won’t be playing Brianna’s role then that would definitely come as a shocker, considering the fact that she is the perfect fit to play the role.

Now, “Outlander” fans, you don’t have to wait for long because we are pretty sure that the much expected announcement is coming. Meanwhile, what do you think about the cast of the movie? Share your views in the comments below.
