‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe Tease Possible Complications Between Jamie and Claire

It is a known fact that “Outlander” Season 2 will be set in France, well, for the first part of the series, though. Also, there is the Jacobite rising that Jamie is determined to stop. And there’s Black Jack Randall who has risen from the dead? Read on.

According to Christian Post, Sam Heughan’s Jamie will be very busy on the second season of “Outlander.” The Jacobite uprising is one thing, which is why he and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are in France. All along these two thought that they will just deal with the Jacobites but it turns out that they will also come face-to-face with Tobias Menzies’ Black Jack Randall, Jamie’s old nemesis who tortured him last season.

Next, Jamie will also be dealing with the traumatic incident he suffered in the hands of Black Jack in “Outlander” Season 1. And then there’s Claire’s pregnancy, putting their relationship to the test. The good news is that Balfe has confirmed in previous reports that she and Jamie will only grow stronger this season.

As for Jamie and Black Jack Randall’s “confrontation,” there is definitely going to be a fight. Photos at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow resurfaced showing a fighting scene between the two. According to Scotland Now, these photos of Menzies and Heughan are the most anticipated encounter between their characters.

As mentioned, “Outlander” Season 2 will be set in France, but not for long, though because it is very likely that the second half of the season will take us back to Scotland.

“Outlander” Season 2 is based on Diana Gabaldon’s second book “Dragonfly in Amber” and it is expected to hit the small screen in 2016. No one has confirmed the exact date yet, though. It is very likely that we will have our dose of “Outlander” during the early part of next year.
