‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe Tease Possible Complications Between Jamie and Claire

Outlander” Season 2 may still be far away from now, but recent news developed when the show released a casting notice. They are now looking for someone who could play the role of Brianna Randall. Exciting times ahead!

Brianna Randall is introduced in the second book of Diana Gabaldon titled “Dragonfly In Amber.” This is also where “Outlander” Season 2 will be based from. In the book, Claire and Jaime will be brought to a time jump, which will introduce their 20-year old daughter Brianna, also called Bree.

The casting notice is described as “ginger-haired and tall, an American twenty something and someone who’s strong-minded, with effortless charm and a sparkling sense of humor.” This casting notice somehow hints that “Outlander” Season 2 will stray a bit from the book because in the book Brianna will be introduced during the ‘60s, but in the upcoming season, she followed her mother secretly in time to meet her father and her family.

However, this event really did happen in the books but it wasn’t until the fourth book “Drums of Autumn.” “Outlander” Season 2 is making the story come together by twisting things around. It looks like this is going to be really interesting.

Meanwhile, Spoiler TV reported that Tobiaz Menzies and Sam Heughan were spotted practicing their fencing skills. Also, co-executive producer Matthew B. Roberts took to Twitter to let fans know that the first 5 episodes of “Outlander” Season 2 have already been written.
