Outlander fans are in for many interesting scenes in Season 3 of the series. Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently shot some scenes for the new season in Scotland. The villagers at Dunure Harbour cannot stop staring at the two actors.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe Take A Break From Outlander Season 3 Shooting
Last month, Balfe reached out to her fans on social media. She had joined the Scots for the Women’s March against Donald Trump. It took place in Edinburgh.
The couple, on the other hand, took a break in filming for Outlander Season 3. However, they made it to the point to attend the premiere of T2: Trainspotting. They also went the Scotland vs Ireland rugby game at the Murrayfield stadium.
Heughan and Balfe engaged in other activities apart from shooting for the new season. It seems that the cast and crew did not end up in any delay. The stars return back to continue scheduled shoots.
The completion of the series remains the first priority for the entire crew of Outlander. The Scottish Sun reports that Outlander Season 3 picks up at the Battle of Culloden. The battle happens between British forces and Jacobite highlanders in 1746.
Ronald D. Moore Unveils Over Outlander Details
EP Ronald D. Moore talked about Outlander Season 3 in an interview. He wants to give an insight to people over what events took place during the battle. The show draws its inspiration from the third book of hit series from author Diana Gabaldon. Therefore, everyone can be sure of minute details to be unfolded about that time.
In addition, the book featured the adventures of Claire Randall during the 18th century. It also reveals her struggle in finding Jamie Fraser, the Highland warrior. The two became a couple in the novel.
In the last season, a lot of things happened in her life. She finally learned about Jamie’s whereabouts. It seems that he survived the Battle of Culloden.
Sam Heughan tells that the upcoming season stands on a totally different level. He hinted that is even more interesting than before. The actor confirms that they are setting up things. Aside from this, they are also finalizing the stage and characters.
According to him, things have reached into “new, different worlds.” Outlander Season 3 exact release date is not yet known. And this further makes the fans more impatient in knowing when they will air the upcoming season this year.
