“Outlander” is a time travel romantic series whose story has been taken from a group of novels written by Diana Gabaldon. It has come to notice that the series has sparked a debate of its own kind on the way the series presented feminism on television; on the other hand, tourism in Scotland has also increased because of the series. According to Latino Post, Doune Castle is a very old place located in central Scotland near the district of Stirling. Since this place has been shown in different scenes in the show, there has been an increase in visitors.

According to reports given by BBC, there has been a forty-four percent increase in the number of tourist coming to this castle which is being given the name “Castle Leoch” on the “Outlander” show. Scottish people are enjoying a sudden increase in the number of tourists and they give the credit to the show.

Talking about this highly successful television series, Fiona Hyslop, the Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Culture, extends her thanks to the show for it has increased revenue generation in a completely different field.

“Outlander” depicts a story about a heroine who wants to split time travelling in an effort to keep her love living for every. She wants to achieve this by changing the developments made in the past. However, this story has been the topic of a lot of debate in around Scotland.

Julie Beck responds to the views expressed by people as they compare the series with “Game of Thrones” by saying that Fraser/Claire Randall is a female character in this series that is completely missing in “Game of Thrones”.
