Vincent McMahon is getting his own biopic, titled Pandemonium, which will focus on the WWE CEO’s life. Getting the right actor to play his role is very significant.
Given that the movie might focus largely on different eras in his life, the biopic would also need actors from different generations to play him.
Bradley Cooper is the man for the job if the biopic focuses on a younger McMahon. At 42, Cooper still has the ability to play serious, funny and completely whacked out.
Whether it is him being intense in American Sniper or being funny in The Hangover, he has shown that he has the ability to portray any kind of character.
Also with his loud and sarcastic turn as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, he has further established that no character is difficult for him.
Vince Vaughn is the other candidate for a younger McMahon. Even though he might be a little old to play the younger version, he can do justice to the character.
With his roles in True Detective, Wedding Crashers, and Zoolander, he has proven that he will be a good fit for the role.
All the conflicts, rage, and hilarity that have been associated with McMahon, Vaughn will be able to mix that well in one role.
Jon Hamm is yet another actor who can play the multi-layered character of McMahon. His brooding looks and how he looks like someone who’s up to get his hands dirty makes him a good candidate for the role as well.
Going by the roles he’s done, he can engage in some light comedy and can go in towering rage.
Josh Brolin is currently having the time of his life. After having been chosen to play Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, he was roped for the role of Cable in Deadpool 2 as well.
Other than these two superhero movies, if there is any other project that Brolin can be a part of, it has to be this. His roles in Sicario, Men In Black 3 and others have proven his acting prowess making him a good choice for the role.
WhatCulture reported that Eric Roberts would be the best choice to play an older McMahon in the biopic. According to the outlet, he has got the charm, arrogance and can also come across as someone unlikeable.
He played the main villain in The Expendables, which is enough to prove he can play a conniving and manipulative character.
The outlet also stated that Roberts might have to beef up for the role but it would be better if the movie uses real footage from WWE. Since he also looks a little bit like McMahon, the makers will get a real good actor for the biopic. It remains to be seen which actor gets picked for the role.
Pandemonium does not have an official release date yet.
