Sometimes when we’re about to embark on a new adventure in life, we’d usually only have our family to support us. In light of the rumors that he’s turning female, Bruce Jenner found himself another supporter in the person of Patricia Arquette.
In an interview in “The Meredith Viera Show” on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, Patricia Arquette commented on how the media have been so disrespectful of Bruce Jenner’s alleged plans of transitioning. She even referred to him as “Ms. Jenner” and used female pronouns when talking about him.
“If Ms. Jenner is transitioning, I give all my support to her and love and appreciate everything she has given to America and her bravery, because she is fighting a fight for a lot of kids that are being kicked out of their own homes—society turns their back on these kids. It’s really brutal,” Arquette said, as published on Mirror.
In reference to her sibling who is a transgender and has gone public, Arquette mentioned of how difficult it was for them and many others to accept it, especially since they were also a well-known celebrity family like the Kardashian-Jenner family. And yet, it is also easy to love and appreciate the courage involved with the said transition at the same time.
Though Jenner has not yet officially confirmed the news about his supposed transition, reports claim that he is planning to document his transformation in a TV series similar to his family’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” as well as having an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer.
With regards to the rest of the members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, most of them, especially the girls of the family, have shown their support for Jenner. In an interview, Jenner’s stepdaughter Kim Kardashian said that Jenner will address the rumors in his own time and that they will give him their 100 percent support.
