In what some may deem to be an action-filled car scene, Patrick Schwarzenegger found himself in such a situation (minus the guns, of course) while heading for a date with his girlfriend, although his opponent didn’t show much guts nor have good driving skills for the thrill.
According to TMZ, Patrick Schwarzenegger was driving in the San Fernando Valley, heading for a lunch date with girlfriend Miley Cyrus in a nearby restaurant. Then another driver came up next to him and actually threw a bottle full of water on his car. Like any typical guy, especially if you have an expensive ride, Schwarzenegger got angry and chased the culprit down the road.
As the two drivers chased each other, the culprit tried to make a U-turn but failed miserably (or apparently so it seemed). This resulted to his and Schwarzenegger’s car colliding. Fortunately, there were only minor damages caused by the collision, but the other driver took the chance to run away from the scene.
Schwarzenegger went straight to the restaurant, where Cyrus was waiting and called the police from there. When the police arrived, they asked for Schwarzenegger’s statement and then held an investigation under the charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon (if you call a water bottle deadly).
In a statement released by Los Angeles Police Department Capt. John McMahon, the incident happened about 11:00 a.m. in Whitsett Avenue and Riverside Drive by the Valley Village. According to their investigations, McMahon said that there’s a strong possibility that the other driver intentionally rammed his car into Schwarzenegger’s. Unfortunately though, a reason for it has not yet been found and is still being looked upon.
Despite the earlier car action, Schwarzenegger showed a sweet side of him to Cyrus during Valentine’s Day when he posted a cute photo of them together in Instagram, captioned with “Luckiest guy in the world. ❤”
