People’s Choice Award 2015 Nominations [WATCH VIDEO]

Spearheaded by Bob Stivers in 1975, the People’s Choice Awards is the only main awards show where the public decides who will be the winners across categories of movies, music and television. The show recognizes people and works of popular culture. Read on to learn more about the People’s Choice Award 2015 nominations.

The People’s Choice Awards has announced that voting is now officially open at Fans can vote to make sure their favorites are nominated across 54 categories including Favorite Movie, Favorite TV Show and Favorite Breakout Artist until Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014.

Log in to the People’s Choice official website and vote for your favorite stars and help them reach the top five to officially become a nominee in the category they are voted in.

In the Favorite Movie category, some of the pics competing for the award are: "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Maleficent," and "Gone Girl" "22 Jump Street," and "Godzilla." 

For the Favorite Movie Actor, we have Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Andrew Garfield, Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart, Ben Affleck and many more.

In the Favorite Movie Actress category, Jennifer Lawrence and Shailene Woodley , Emma Stone, Emily Blunt and Angelina Jolie are in the race to win the award.

In the Favorite Action Movie category, the top challengers are: "300: Rise of an Empire," "Divergent," "Lucy," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Edge of Tomorrow."

In the Favorite Comedic Movie category, more than ten films are on the list including: "22 Jump Street," "Let's Be Cops," "Ride Along," "About Last Night," and "A Million Ways to Die in the West."

 In the Favorite Dramatic Movie category, the race is among:  "The Fault in Our Stars," "Heaven is for Real," "Million Dollar Arm," "Fury," and "The Hundred-Foot Journey."

In the Favorite Album category, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith are in the nominee list.

In the Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor category, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jensen, Ackles, Stephen Amell, Josh Dallas, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are in the nominee list.

In the Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actress Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira,Nicole Beharie, Halle Berry, and Sarah Paulson are in the nominee list.

In the Favorite TV Show category, "The Walking Dead," "American Horror Story," "American Idol," "The Bachelor," "The Big Bang Theory," “Once Upon a Time," "Scandal" and Sons of Anarchy" are in the nominee list. You can check the complete list of nominees here.

The 2015 People's Choice Award top five nominees for each category will be announced during the annual People’s Choice Awards Press Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. People’s Choice Awards 2015 will be broadcast LIVE from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 on the CBS.
