It looks like Susan William still misses her late husband a lot. Here is what the widow of Robin Williams had to say about her beloved late husband.
Her beloved husband has left her for almost a year now but Susan Williams has many fond memories to share with us about her star comedian husband.
Susan says that apparently her husband was feeling better just a day before his suicide in 2014.
Susan gave an emotional and heart-touching interview to “Good Morning America” on Wednesday where she shared beautiful memories of her late husband.
She said that the day before his death seemed to be a perfect day and the couple did what they were fond of doing together. Apparently, Robin had the perfect day before he passed away on the following day.
She distinctly remembers that August 2014 day when it seemed to her as if Robin knew what he was doing.
Susan, 51, said that the Robin she knew in their private life was quite different from the image he had in his public life.
Robin’s late widow confessed that her late husband was quiet, kind, and even funny at times within the privacy of their home. She also praised him, counting his positive traits like being intellectual, contemplative, and at times, very funny.
Susan also added that though Robin was a “beautiful genius”, it were his insecurities and fears that were slowly killing him.
In the latest issues of Peopla Magazine, Susan shares that it was not depression that killed Robin, but one of those “fifty symptoms” that he suffered from DLB or a deadly brain disease. The pneumonic stands for “Dementia with Lewy bodies”.
While she was being interviewed in “GMA”, Susan discussed about the lengthy and bitter legal battle between her and Robin’s 3 children, Cody, Zelda, and Zachary. The battle was over Robin’s estate legacy.
Susan, who got married to the late comedian in 2011, had an out of court settlement with Robin’s children in October, this year.
Susan also said that her “pain” and “wounds” would never fade and yet, she has become stronger. She has consciously managed to keep a portion of her life with Robin intact.
In fact, she has made sure that the actor’s slippers are exactly in the same place where he had left them, on the floor of their bathroom and she intends to keep them that way.
