“Person of Interest” Season 3 Episode 22 “A House Divided” Recap:
“Person of Interest” Season 3 Episode 22 “A House Divided” began with the kidnapping of Harold Finch by John Greer and the “Samaritan” group. Samatha Shaw (Sarah Shahi) and John Reese (Jim Caviezel) are on the track of getting him back to them. They learned that people jumped off buildings upon seeing them during their research.
Root (Amy Acker) had warned them about the alarming chance of Finch being dead. Root surprised them on the team of hackers that she have been establishing in the previous episodes. It is said to help them battle with Decima and Vigilance.
On the other hand, the team had used a digital camera to capture the license plates of the Secret Service. These photos were to be fed to the Machine. They got Control, Senator Garrison, presidential advisor Rivera and two more others. The five Numbers belong to to the people they thought as the bad guys. They are now tasked to protect the people who wanted to track down John Greer and his motives for the Samaritan. Control was one of those who didn’t feel happy about Greer’s goal to sell it again to the government because it was hers in the first place.
Shaw started to track out a number who is actually a vigilance. She learned that it was a computer virus that gave them a large sum of Numbers. Reese arrived late and got a standoff with Hersh. Root informed them that the fifth Number was Greer and Finch is now in a lot more danger.
Meanwhile, a back story about Collier’s life before being part of Vigilance was shown. His brother, Jesse, wa falsely accused of being a national threat. When the government freed him, it was too late and he committed suicide. Collier found out that Jesse was just a mere sponsor of the Israeli terrorist he helped. Collier also learned that the government made up the story and he had promised to get his revenge for his innocent brother.
