A brand-new season means new characters and story line. According to TV Line, actress Monique Curnan will join the cast alongside new cast member Carla Buono.
Moreover, actress Monique Curnan, who is best known for her work in both films and television, has appeared in films such as “Contagion” (2011), “The Dark Knight” (2008), “Half Nelson” (2006), “Revenge” (2014), “Hawaii Five-O” (2013), “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2011) and “Lie to Me” (2010 to 2011).
In “Person of Interest,” she will be taking on the role of Detective Lionel Fusco’s (Kevin Chapman) new police captain, Captain Felicia Moreno, at the New York Police Department 8th Precinct. Her character is described as smart and a native New Yorker. She will have her work cut out for her because the city’s homicide rate is rising rapidly.
Curnan is the second additional cast member to be announced, as TV Line has also reported that Cara Buono (“Mad Men”) will be joining the cast as someone who, according to the Season 4 trailer, is set out to eliminate those who know the existence of the government’s new surveillance system, Samaritan.
According to the show’s official page, when we return to our favorite vigilantes, we will see them as they try to adjust to the new identities that Root (Amy Acker) had set up for them so that they can avoid detection from the Machine’s rival, Samaritan. However, when the Machine starts sending new numbers in for them to investigate and save, some will jump at the chance to get back to work, while others are on the fence, as acting on those numbers might expose them onto Samaritan’s radar again. The official title of the season premiere episode is “Panopticon.”
