The chemistry behind fifth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean” titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is quite unusual but it seems it will restart a new journey of the franchise. With a bold objective to win back the global fans of the movie sequels, the upcoming movie will reportedly be going through a soft reboot. Consider reading to get a scoop of it.
The second installment titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” (2006) earned $1.07 billion ($1,066,179,725 based on Wikipedia report). If we give a look in the figures highlighted by Crossmap, there is a clear dwindling in the figure in the fourth installment (titled “On Stranger Tides”) that earned $1.05 billion ($1,045,713,802 Wikipedia).
This fall in number seems to have enthused Disney to strategize something different for the fifth installment. Based on some reports so far, we can say that “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” will be taken back to its original movie “The Curse of the Black Pearl.” Hence, it won’t be surprising to see a plenty of similarities between the upcoming fifth sequel and the 2003’s first movie.
The website also reported that the most loved character in “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, Captain Jack Sparrow would be played by the remarkable actor Johnny Depp like the earlier sequels. Captain Hector Barbossa, played by Geoffrey Rush in previous movies, will also be present in the fifth installment. On the other hand, “No Country for Old Men” actor Javier Bardem will also play the role of Captain Salazar as a captain of the 18th century. He is probable to be the chief of a gang of ghost pirates and also Captain Sparrow’s rival.
The Christian Post recently published some updates on Captain Salazar that states that he has taken the vow to take revenge on Captain Sparrow as he considers him the killer of his brother.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is scheduled to be in the global theaters on July 7, 2017.
