Pirates of the Caribbean 5 aka Dead Men Tell No Tales the upcoming fantasy swashbuckler flick has unveiled its fourth trailer. With each teaser, the film reveals a different side of the story and this time it has focused on Javier Bardem’s character Armando Salazar. The film will see the return of this character who was cursed in his younger years due to Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). He will seek revenge from Sparrow and has taken a resolution to kill each and every pirate.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Latest Trailer: What Does It Offer?

The recent trailer of Pirates of the Caribbean 5 begins with the young Armando Salazar and Sparrow. They have a massive fight out in the sea after which Salazar was cursed by the eccentric Sparrow. Salazar states that “pirates had infected the seas for generation, so I vowed to eliminate them all.”

He is now coming back for the revenge which has shaken up the entire ocean. Salazar is not alone he has a full ghost army with him who are not affected by bullet and weapons. He got stuck in the Devil’s Triangle at the end of the war and perhaps due to some tricks played by Sparrow.

The second half of the trailer shed light on the new characters of Brenton Thwaites as Henry and Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth. It seems as if the new lead pair will take the place of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley in the franchise. The character of Carina brings reminiscence of Elizabeth Swann, they are courageous and certainly do not believe in ghost stories. But, they both realized it after they became a part of such stories (via Slash Film).

Interestingly, Henry looks very much like father Will Turner and will accompany Sparrow in his journey like his father did in the first part. The film is likely to have drawn many similarities from the first part of the film. The theme of the story is vengeance which will bring all the characters together to save the oceanic disaster.

Cast Members

The film will see the return of several pirates which includes Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa. Another special part of the film will feature legendary singer of Beatles member Paul McCartney. However, it still remains unknown what role he is set to play. The upcoming installment will bring back Turner who was transformed into Flying Dutchman’s Captain in the last part.Other cast members include Kevin McNally, Martin Klebba, Stephen Graham, David Wenham and Golshifteh Farahani in significant roles.

A major part of Pirates of the Caribbean 5 was shot at Queensland and in Helensvale. The film suffered major delays due to Depp’s injury and due to his divorce proceedings with ex-wife Amber Heard. He remained absent from the sets stalling the filming development.

Sequel Possibilities

Until now nothing has been officially said about any possibilities of the sequel. However, it is said that the two new important characters Henry and Carina will take the center stage of the story. Of at all, there are more sequels in the franchise these two will become the main lead.

Perhaps, the franchise may bid adieu to the fans in this part. Since the official trailer of the film captains it as the final adventure. However, Joachim Rønning later cleared that the caption means the beginning of the final adventure. There might be some more stories to be told ahead. But it still remains unknown about how the Disney’s franchise will go ahead.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 aka Dead Men Tell No Tales is slated to be released on May 26.
