Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’ Puppy Bowl Promo: Know the Voices Inside Your Head [WATCH VIDEO]

Disney Pixar sat out the Box Office competition last year when they released no film under their production company, but this 2015, they are starting to rev up the promotions for their upcoming movie “Inside Out” in their own adorable version of a Super Bowl promo. Read on to know more about the details of this preview.

2014 didn’t turn out to be a year of outputs for Disney Pixar as they didn’t bring in any films for everyone to see, leaving Dreamworks Animation’s “How to Train Your Dragon 2” go up to the World Wide Box Office as the highest grossing animated film of last year with no contender. This 2015, however, things will be different as they’ve slated two 3D animation films—“Inside Out” for June and “The Good Dinosaur”—on November. And now that “Inside Out” is just four months away from its premiere, Disney Pixar is bringing in their exciting promotions to increase the film viewer’s anticipation.

Based on the feature of Screen Rant, “Inside Out” tells the story of a young girl named Riley who is going through all the motions of growing up with the five common voices in her head: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear and Anger. In the Puppy Bowl featurette of the film, they basically presented how it is like for each emotion to act depending on its specific pressure point. Joy tumbles around from excitement, Disgust is about to throw up from seeing an unpleasant scene, Sadness breaks into tears from an unfavorable outcome, Anger spikes the tinder of his head from displeasure and Fear shields himself from the shocking turn of events. They may be played separately but they are all part of the inner workings in Riley’s head.

Overall, the TV spot didn’t really offer new footages or scenes; rather it only depicted what it wants to express as a Super Bowl promotion. “Inside Out” features the voices of actors Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader, Lewis Black and Mindy Kaling. It opens in theaters on June 19, 2015.

That ends our preview of “Inside Out’s” Puppy Bowl spot. Continue to keep your tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more information on upcoming films, including updates and reviews.
