Pokemon GO mobile application has been under development by Niantic Labs in association with the Pokemon Company, Google and Nintendo. Moreover, Pokemon Expo Gym is set to open in November. Read on for more details.
According to The Gospel Herald, the Pokemon Company, Google, and Nintendo announced that they would invest a total of $30 million in Niantic Labs for the development of Pokemon GO mobile application, in mid-October.
John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic, said, “We are thrilled to disclose that our mission will be backed by global giants in the game, entertainment and technology sectors.”
Few details about the development of Pokemon GO have been revealed in the October edition of CoroCoro, the Japanese manga magazine. The magazine also includes some information about the Pokemon Z as well as the Pokemon XY & Z anime. Pokemon fans need to watch the anime show beginning on October 29 to get the serial codes of the Pokemon of the Week.
Based on the details given in the magazine, the Pokemon of the Week – Xerneas would be released on October 29. The Pokemon of the Week – Yveltal would be released on November 5. The Pokemon of the Week – Zygarde would be released on November 12. The details such as the abilities and powers of Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde are also included in the magazine.
Based on a report from Siliconera and Inside Games, Pokemon Expo Gym would be opening in Osaka, Japan, on 19th of next month. The Gym would be available for gamers to practice Pokemon battles. The membership card for the using the Gym could be pre-ordered from October 31.
The Pokemon Expo Gym would offer various training programs and game-related events such as Gardevoir’s Control Score and Charizard’s Battle Colosseum. It also allows the gamers to gain special Pokemon for its games like Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. Moreover, Pokemon Expo Gym Gear would be available as a smartphone application that allows users to track their statistics.
The Pokemon GO would be releasing in 2016, and the Pokemon Expo Gym would be opening on November 19.
