A good news is coming for the “Power Rangers” fans as a new face has joined the star cast of the upcoming movie. The Lionsgate’s project has been joined by Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger after Naomi Scott who will be seen as The Pink Ranger in the movie. Read On.
The announcement of Dacre Montgomery selection for the movie was made through the official Instagram account of the new film on Oct. 20, 2015.
Montgomery was previously seen as Fred in 2010’s short film titled “Betrand the Terrible” which received 7.3 rating out of 10 on IMDb. By including a new face to the film’s star cast, the makers are trying to give a fresh look to the movie. It is about ordinary teens fighting to save the world from abnormal or alien criminals after getting unbelievable powers.
Previously, it was announced that for the role of Black Ranger, three names are into consideration namely “Major Crimes’” fame Brian “Sene” Marc, “It Follows” fame Daniel Zovatto, and “Chasing Life” fame Ross Butler but no confirmation has yet arrived on the same. With “X-Men: First Class” and “Thor” fame writers preparing the movie’s screenplay, we can imagine the modern class the movie will depict.The responsibility related to the productionof the movie was given to Allison Shearmur of Lionsgate and Brian Casentini of Saban Brands.
Well, all the fans are eagerly waiting for the movie as it is been a long since all of us are hearing about it. So, let us wish the team, studio all the very best as they have to finalize other names too for the film, which will be directed by Dean Israelite of “Project Almanac” fame with a release date of Jan. 13, 2017.
