Read on to learn more about this episode.
Detective Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) woke up from a dream. In it, he had been lobotomized through his eye, just like what Wolfe (Eddie Izzard) experienced in his cell every day.
While the anti-Powers movement, Kaotic Chic, grew into riots in front of the local courthouse, where the decision whether to drain Wolfe or not was being debated upon. Johnny Royalle (Noah Taylor) met up with his lawyer to figure out a way to make a humanitarian visit to Wolfe. However, they were interrupted by Walker. He demanded to know why Royalle had been visiting Wolfe without busting him out, but Royalle refused to tell him anything.
At the Powers Division, Walker discovered that police officers now wanted to be part of the Powers division as they now had a Drainer. His partner, Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), then informed him that she was currently digging into Calista Secor’s (Olesya Rulin) records in order to find her. Walker told her that he was impressed. He convinced her to agree with him on the fact that he wanted to see Wolfe in order to understand what Royalle wanted out of him. However, their request was denied by Captain Cross (Adam Godley), who just told him to find a way to make sure that Royalle wouldn’t see Wolfe.
Meanwhile, Retro Girl (Michelle Forbes) refused to be placed under the spotlight once again, just so that she could appear to be Zora’s (Logan Browning) new mentor.
At the back of the club, Simons (Aaron Farb) reassured Royalle that his other self-was with Calista, who was helping him collect all of the sways. Royalle then revealed to him that he couldn’t get to Wolfe without proving that the Drainer was physically harmful. He revealed to him that he believed that Walker could now also absorb and take away someone’s powers because of the sway that he took. Afterwards, he disappeared as Deena and Walker showed up at the door of the club with a search warrant to look for sway.
Scared of Walker, Simons ran and hid in the car scrap yard until Walker managed to get one of the Simons as the hostage if he didn’t pull all of his selves in. They then threw him into the cage with the Drainer. It caused him to cry as if he had been killed as the Simons with Calista dropped dead at that moment.
Meanwhile, at Under Armor, Retro Girl’s agent manipulated things so that she would be there when Zora was there. Afterwards, she told Zora never to forget to use every opportunity that she could to make a real difference in the world. As they talked, Zora realized that it had been Walker who had thrown Wolfe into his cell.
Meanwhile, Royalle managed to get his visit as what happened to Simons was proof that the Drainer was physically harmful. There, Wolfe revealed to Royalle that he knew that Walker now had his own abilities to absorb powers, and told Royalle off as he hadn’t realized that by allowing others to consume Sway, which was made out of him, Royalle had created a feeding ground for Wolfe to consume. He knew that it wouldn’t be long before the Drainer truly failed.
Afterwards, Wolfe tried to manipulate Walker into switching off the Drainer, under the guise that Walker would be able to get his powers back, but he didn’t.
Meanwhile, Krispin Stockley (Max Fowler) left Calista as they differed in opinion about powered beings, and as she told him that she was one. Afterwards, he told Chaotic Chick (Shelby Steel) that he was ready to push their movement even more forward. Because of this, they laid a trap for a power in an alleyway that night, where he managed to slit her throat.
Calista, upset at Krispin, decided to take Sway, which caused her to go into convulsions. Royalle then lured Walker over and then teleported them both away.
