Alison has a very difficult decision to make: she can go to trial and if found guilty, spend her life in prison OR she can take a plea bargain and admit that she killed Mona. She also have to admit that Hanna is her accomplice. Spencer’s mom, Veronica, discouraged her from taking up the deal saying that she can’t leave with the guilt of throwing her friends under the bus forever.

Caleb tells Hanna that the only solution was to tell Detective Tanner everything she knows about A. However, when she finally decided to come clean all of A’s texts were deleted. Caleb tried to call Aria and Emily for help, but all of their texts were deleted as well.

Spencer is missing out on all the drama because she’s still in England preparing for her exams. She tried to book tickets to be with her friends during the difficult time but Melissa stopped her. We also see her cozying up with Colin. Did she already forget about Coby? Later, she finds out that her mom and sister lied on her face to prevent her from going back to Rosewood.

Meanwhile, Aria and Ezra talked about their relationship. She told him that it would be best for both if she were to stay single in college. Ezra was left with no choice but to agree with her.

In the end, Alison decided to take the plea deal, and rat out Hannah in exchange of her freedom. Unfortunately, Hanna got arrested eventually without Alison’s testimony.
