Aria Montgomery will return in the second half of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6, but she will not be with Ezra Fitz. Read on for more details.
According to People Magazine, “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale has confirmed Aria and Ezra’s relationship status. Hale plays the role of the artsy liar, Aria Montgomery. On the other hand, Ian Harding plays the role of Aria’s boyfriend, Ezra Fitz. Lucy explained that the big jump in the new episodes will not include Aria and Ezra’s reconciliation.
Hale said that she really wanted to see the two characters back in each other’s arms. It was especially now that Aria’s character will return as a 23-year-old. She also revealed that Aria will be involved in the publishing world and become focused on promoting her first ever book.
The 26-year-old actress and singer said that she will have a new love interest in the coming episodes. However, she explained that Aria will still think of Ezra. Hale refused to give any information about Aria’s new love, but she said that Aria will still share many episodes with Ezra in the second half of the show’s sixth season. “Pretty Little Liars” fans can now expect that Aria’s relationship with Ezra will be more matured than before.
During the panel at the Paley Center for Media, Troian Bellisario, who plays the role of Spencer Hastings, said that people do not really root for high school students to end up with their English teachers in real life. Hale defended the Ezra love team and said, “It’s a beautiful relationship!”
“Pretty Little Liars” will return for a special episode on Nov. 24, 2015, at 8 p.m. The second part of the show’s sixth season will start on Jan. 12, 2016 on Freeform (ABC Family’s new name).
