According to Realty Today, Lucy Hale disclosed that she received nasty comments from some girls on her Instagram account, recently. Few of her haters who are also followers of her on Instagram went rude and boorish. The “PLL” star also revealed that one of her fans-turned-haters went to the extremes and called her “ugly.”
How did Hale respond to her haters? She just removed the person who called her indecently from her Instagram account and did not call her back. The actress then shared a cryptic message as a response to the nasty comments from the girls.
The cryptic message included a photo with the words, “You can totally sit with me.” She wrote, “When in doubt, be nice. Good rises to the top” alongside the message. The cryptic message had the words that were inspired by the movie “Mean Girls.”
Moreover, the PLL actress also tweeted about the online bashing incident on Twitter to update her fans. According to many reports, the actress received support from millions of her fans. According to Design & Trend, almost 5,000 followers favorited her tweet, and about 2,000 followers retweeted it.
Hale’s response to the online bashing incident revealed that she is mature enough in handling nasty comments. The message she posted on Instagram as a response seemed to be appropriate.
Hale is popular for her role of Aria Montgomery on the hit television series “Pretty Little Liars” that aired on ABC Family. Season 6 of “PLL” would premiere in January 2016.
