Prince William and Princess Kate is a powerful and influential royalty couple. Nevertheless, they remain down-to earth and approachable to everyone whom they meet along their way regardless if they are ordinary people or celebrities. Rachel Weisz shared how it feels like to be up close with them and recalled moments with the pair that made her adore them even more.
In a report from People, Weisz did an interview with Jimmy Fallon in The Tonight Show and she lauded the British royal couple with their kind gestures towards her. She was unprepared when Prince William was drawing near them since she just came from the bathroom to wash her hands but she still paid respect to him and did a little explaining.
Weisz narrated, “The guy in charge of the princes was like ‘The Prince is coming! The Prince is coming!’ So I didn’t have time to dry my hands. So I curtseyed and I said, ‘Oh good evening, your Royal Highness. It’s such a pleasure to meet you. I’m sorry my hands are wet, I just washed them and I didn’t have time to dry them.’”
The prince made the conversation lighter with a nice response. She continued, “He looked at me and said, ‘Well, at least they’re clean!’. He just made me feel so good,”
Of course, she had a little chitchat too with Princess Kate, according to Daily Mail. The Duchess of Cambridge expressed her empathy to her about what they felt in missing their partner because of busy schedule. Daniel Craig is loaded in finishing the filming of his latest movie. He needed to fly back and forth from their home and the location.
“She turned to me just as she was leaving and said ‘I bet you’re glad to have him home,’. My eyes filled with tears cause that’s exactly what I was feeling.”, Weisz shared.
Gentle and kind words said by the royal princess are unforgettable indeed.
Prince William and Princess Kate definitely embody the true qualities of leaders.
