While Christmas is in its full spirit and the Royal family is having the best time of the year, Prince William skips the Christmas Lunch at the Queen’s, to attend his best friend, Guy Pelly’s father’s memorial service. Is it true? Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge attends the luncheon accompanied by Prince Harry and the little Prince George.
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, was not seen at the Queen’s annual Christmas Dinner at the Buckingham Palace, where all of the near and dear ones of the Cambridge Dynasty are entitled to attend. But this year the future king had travelled to Mere, in Wiltshire, to support his Friend Guy Pelly, on the death of his father, John Pelly. On the other side, The Duchess of Cambridge looked graceful as usual, when she arrived at Queen’s Christmas Dinner with Prince Harry, and the little Prince George.
John, father of Guy Pelly, died in November, due to illness and he owned two garages of Toyota-Subaru in Kent.
Yesterday, Prince William was kind enough to visit and support Guy and his family, when they had a memorial service for the late businessman. According to MailOnline, Mrs. Vanda Pelly, the wide of the Late John Pelly, was also pictured, arriving at the service in a wheelchair, “to whom John was married for 42 years.”
Prince William met Guy Pelly at the Beaufort Hunt, alongside Prince Harry, and he is a businessman by career. The princes attended his wedding which took place last year, when he got married to Lizz, the granddaughter of Kemmons Wilsons Senior, who owns a chain of holiday inns in Memphis. Even though Prince Harry was entitled to be the best man in the future King’s wedding, Guy was trusted with the task of his stag do. There was a time, a rumor was circulated that he would be one of the god father’s of Prince George.
There are even countless controversies around him, stating that, he was the one to introduce drugs to the young Prince Harry, and he was infamous for his reckless behaviours in nightclubs and pubs.
