The closing of previous season of “Prison Break” was very simple but still the ending is known even today for the death of Wentworth Miller’s character, Michael Scofield. Oppositely, his romance with Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) that blossomed in the Fox River prison is still remembered today. Hence, when the fans came to know that Miller would reprise his role, they eventually started considering their happy family with atleast a kid.
Tancredi was portrayed as a widow (who was even pregnant) in the last episode of “Prison Break” season 4. But she received a DVD in which Scofield had disclosed all the reasons for his sacrifice. He even placed a request to Tancredi and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) to ensure that his child would never feel alone.
According to Inquisitr, there has been an umpteen of speculations that how Scofield has faked his death as the electrocution obviously failed to kill him. Although the update for the audience was that Scofield died out of brain tumor, but later an extra “Prison Break” episode revealed that Scofield actually died while trying to get Tancredi out of the prison. He reportedly chose that fate as he knew very well that he would die soon due to his suffering from brain tumor.
Fox chairman Gary Newman earlier said to IGN that the fans would get all the answers in “Prison Break” season 5. He even described the upcoming show as a “bit of a sequel” and not a complete reboot at all.
On the other hand, there is also a big chance for the returning of the actors like Amaury Nolasco and William Fichtner who played the role of Fernando Sucre and Alexander Mahone respectively. However, their returning is still not confirmed by Fox.
“Prison Break” season 5 is expected to hit the small screen anytime in March 2016.
