‘Prison Break’ Season 5: Mystery Continues To Hover Over Michael Scofield’s Son

“Prison Break” Season 5 is ready to hit the floors next week and most of the original star cast is all set to start filming for the upcoming season in Vancouver. While most of the cast members from the original series have been brought back, it is one of the pivotal characters of the show that needs a replacement and the role in reference here is none other than Michael Scofield’s son.

In the fifth edition of this Fox crime thriller, it can be expected that Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) and Dr. Sara Tancredi’s (played by Sarah Wayne Callies) son may have an important part to play in the reconciliation of the two lead actors of the show.

As per a recent update by Sivertimes, (via TV Line) the makers of “Prison Break” have not yet found a perfect fit for this character and they are still looking for an apt face. Despite the delay in finding a perfect candidate to fill this position, the makers will utilize Season 5 to finally raise the curtain from Scofield Jr. It will be interesting to see how the kid will adjust with his new father after his biological father’s supposed demise. The website has described the baby boy as “very cool and much more perceptive than might suggest his age.”

According to a report by IBT, Mark Feuerstein has been roped in to play Scott Ness, Tancredi’s new husband in the show. There is a high risk of things getting muckier on the return of Scofield, with a few new additions to the show, things are certainly going to take an interesting turn.

In addition to this, let’s grab a quick look at the list of actors who are set to make a comeback in “Prison Break” Season 5:

  • Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows
  • Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield
  • Sarah Wayne Callies as Sara Tancredi
  • Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre
  • Robert Knepper as Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell
  • Rockmond Dunbar as Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin
  • Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman
