The returning of famous brothers, Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, in “Prison Break” season 5 is already confirmed and the fans of this American television serial drama are highly looking forward to seeing the next happenings since the series ended on May 15, 2009. A few days back, an official statement was released by Fox’s head honchos that not only indicated the continuation of “Prison Break” once again, but also revealed that some actors from the original show would be reprising their roles.
The Fox producer, Dana Walden hinted the famous characters of Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell in “Prison Break” to reprise their roles, and basically these two brothers are the main characters whom fans are eagerly waiting to see once again.
“I would describe it as a bit of a sequel, it picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show. The brothers will be back,” Fox producer Dana Walden opined, as confirmed by KpopStarz.
On the other hand, it is also hinted that the action-thriller television series “Prison Break” season 5 is going to be made similar to “24: Live Another Day.” The series will reportedly have a close-end storylines with just around a dozen of episodes. However, it’s still not confirmed when we will amuse with season 5 of “Prison Break.”
Another interesting news that testifies the demand of “Prison Break” is that the series for the first time will be aired in Spanish on NBC Universo. According to Latin Times, the network, which is known for sports cable channel and modern entertainment for Latinos, is all set to offer its viewers the gritty series that is still holding “mainstream audience during its past four seasons.” NBC Universo will air “Prison Break” in Spanish from Oct. 20, 2015.
“NBC Universo is breaking the mold of what viewers are used to seeing on Spanish-language television,” Bilai Joa Silar, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production, NBC Universo said.
