The development of upcoming crime drama series “Prison Break” is in full velocity and the revival of the series is expected to see new discoveries. Read below if you are nostalgic to its earlier seasons.
FOX is said to have a plan of airing 10-episode season of the drama that will resurrect the popular characters Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrow, which were earlier played by the actors Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell respectively. As reported by MStars News recently, the two actors have finally given the confirmation of their returning to the drama series with their sibling characters.
FOX co-chairman Gary Newman said that the series saying “it’s the perfect event series” that would certainly bring closure to the storyline. He also assured the “Prison Break” fans that it would be a close-ended storyline.
“As soon as Wentworth and I started on The Flash, we didn’t realize because we always knew we worked so well together, but it reminded us that it just made perfect sense for us to get the ball rolling again for Prison Break,” Purcell said in an exclusive interview with E! Online.
“The Walking Dead” actress, Sarah Wayne Callies, who played the character of Sara Tancredi, confirmed during her last Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, California. She was eager to join the cast of “Prison Break” but she had not received any call to reprise her role. Hence, the returning of the pretty woman, who fell in love and married Scofield and turned pregnant in the ending of season 4, is yet to be confirmed.
Digital Spy recently generated an opinion poll where its readers had full authority to leave their opinions on a question encircling the revival of “Prison Break.” The media outlet wanted to know which character the readers would prefer to join Scofield aka Miller and Burrows aka Purcell in the event series. Among 5,656 voters, 39 percent voted for good-nature jailbird Fernando Sucre, the character played by Amaury Nolasco.
