Fans who still have not been able to break the prison of their addiction for Fox’s much popular TV series “Prison Break,” are going to have something more than expected from March 2016. The show that was aired from 2005 to 2009 had a lot of rumors that it would never come back, but the showrunners and producers have not only kept their promises, they are even going to bring the audience’s most favorite characters Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows in “Prison Break” season 5.
A recent news published by Realty Today has confirmed that “Prison Break” season 5 is about to premiere on Fox in coming March 2016 and the lead actors, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as two onscreen brothers (Scofield and Burrows) in the 10-episode series.
These two eminent actors (Miller and Purcell) will reportedly spearhead the show together with some actors from the previous seasons who are expected to reprise their roles in “Prison Break” season 5. However, as far as Scofield’s wife, Dr. Sara Tancredi is concerned, the “The Walking Dead” actress, Sarah Wayne Callies is still rumored to join the upcoming season. Earlier it was said that since she was pregnant when the previous season ended, the show would surely show a junior Scofield followed by their happy small family.
Movie Pilot publishes a report on the possible return of the characters in “Prison Break” season 5 based on audiences’ likeness. Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell played by Robert Knepper has 85 percent chance of returning Amaury Nolasco’s character as Fernando Sucre has 80 percent chance to be a part of the series. While Dr. Tancredi has 90 percent chance of returning, William Fichtner’s character Alexander Mahone has 50 percent chance to reprise in the fifth season.
“Prison Break” season 5 is so far known to have its premiere on March 2016.
