Project Runway: All Stars” Season 4 Episode 10 “Versatile Tops and Bottoms” aired last Jan. 22, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. on Lifetime. The episode kicks off with Alyssa Milano introducing QVC program host Lisa Robertson. Read on to know what the challenge is.

Lisa and Alyssa announce that the challenge is designing ready-to-wear separates and a fashion-forward version of the same look. The prize is that QVC will manufacture one of the separates and sell it.

Zanna Roberts Rassi enters the room while the designers are working on their garments. She thinks Dmitry must push more his fashion-forward look, Michelle should focus on versatility, Sonjia keeps on making pencil skirts, Fabio’s making it too “simplistic,” Helen must have the right amount of edge and Jay’s choice of fabric for the pants is not wearable.

While the designers are fitting their models, Dmitry realizes that his fashion-forward dress is too small for the model. He has no choice but to modify the shoulder part of the dress to cover the most important parts.

The judges for the runway show are Lisa, Georgina Chapman, Isaac Mizrahi and George Kotsiopoulos. After the presentation of the designs, each designer has the chance to describe and explain their ideas.

Georgina loves Dmitry’s designs. Isaac disagrees and thinks the dresses are not fashion-forward at all. Lisa thinks the skirts are cut too short. George has the same reaction with Georgina. Alyssa commends Dmitry for his great understanding of the female body.

George thinks Fabio’s designs are “cute, but not fashion-forward. Georgina says the dresses are “a little young.” Alyssa thinks Fabio’s designs are the most wearable and saleable. Lisa wants more stand-out designs. Isaac says the dresses are “irrelevant.”

Alyssa is crazy with Sonjia’s designs. Isaac says the dresses are “gorgeous.” Lisa thinks the designs are “edgy” and “stunning.”

Georgina loves the color combinations of Helen’s designs. George thinks the dresses only look good with models. Isaac and Alyssa are crazy about the fashion-forward look.

Isaac does not like the print on Michelle’s garments. Lisa is torn of she likes or hates the designs. George loves the prints, but he thinks both designs are fashion-forward looks, in contrast to the challenge. Alyssa says the skirt of the daily wear is overworked.

George says the fabric of Jay’s pants is “messy” to look at. Alyssa only wants the top part of the garments. Georgina tells Jay that he should have used silk instead for the pants. Lisa says the designs are not cohesive. Isaac thinks the skirt of the fashion-forward dress is “unforgivable.”

It is time for the announcement of the best and the worst. Dmitry is safe. The top looks are from Helen and Sonjia. The challenge winner is Sonjia. Michelle is one of the worst for the week, but she is safe. Between Jay and Fabio, Jay is eliminated.
