Public Intoxication Sends Shia LaBeouf Behind Bars Again

Actor Shia LaBeouf continues his past record of violating rules and going behind the bars. This time the 29-year-old star is arrested by the police for public intoxication in the city of Austin, Texas. On Friday, the “Transformers” actor was not only misbehaving with the police but also seemed to be carried away with his emotions.

The incident took place around 7.45 PM local time outside a bar on Sixth Street, a popular entertainment district in downtown Austin. According to the statement of the cops, he was booked for misdemeanor public intoxication and was taken to the Travis County Jail.

The source proclaimed that the former child actor was captured on Sixth Street, which is known for its nightlife, without use of force and he was drunk and somewhat belligerent and uncooperative. He perhaps had overtly consumed drugs when he was trotting on the street that was being roamed around by police. Having no other option, the cops subjugated the situation by putting the actor in cuffs.

Another information landed from a witness, which said that Shia along with a lady, efforted to enter the bar but due to over intoxication they ended up behaving bizarre. Shia coercively tried to enter the bar but the officials blocked him. Just before the incident, the duo was messing up on the roads, seemingly losing control.

It’s hardly the first time LaBeouf has had trouble with the law. The actor blamed whiskey for his arrest last year during a performance of Broadway’s “Cabaret” and pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. In 2008, he was taken into custody for a DUI, and in 2007 he was arrested for trespassing at a Chicago Walgreens. He has also been accused of plagiarism.

Notably, the massive Austin City Limits music festival is currently underway in the Texas capital.
