For those single, Rachel McAdams recently revealed what she is looking for in a man, and ‘flexibility’ is on top of the list. Read on to find out more.
Speaking with the Spanish newspaper, El Mundo, the-36-year old actress dished about her preferences in the other sex, saying,”There are three cardinal points: kindness, humour sense and flexibility. Apart from a taste for adventure. I’m content with that.”
McAdams broke-up with boyfriend Patrick Sambrook late last year, and since then, she has been linked to a number of co-stars by the media. “Southpaw” actor Jake Gyllenhaal was one, and Taylor Kitsch from the second season of “True Detective” was another, though both McAdams and Kitsch denied any romantic involvement, as Movie News Guide reported earlier last week.
In the past, she has dated “The Notebook” co-star Ryan Gosling for a year. But as it turns out, McAdams is currently single and might just be looking for somebody flexible.
Speaking with El Mundo, McAdams also revealed her thoughts about motherhood, saying, “Well, we all think about it, sooner or later. First we imagine the type of partner we want to be … Then, when the time is right, it will be the moment to figure out the type of mother you want to be.”
The Canadian actor’s latest cinematic outing was as ‘Maureen Hope,’ the supporting wife of boxer ‘Billy Hope’ (Jake Gyllenhaal) in “Southpaw.” To convincingly portray the boxer’s wife, McAdams took boxing lessons, The Hollywood Reporter noted.
“Southpaw” was released on July 24 and has been praised for the convincing and dedicated performance by the lead duo.
McAdams also portrays ‘Det. Antigone Bezzerides’ in the second season of HBO’s “True Detective,” alongside Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch.
