Rapper Fetty Wap enjoyed success with his chart topper single “Trap Queen” this summer. However, just a day after his maiden album, he met with a crash that took place at Paterson in New Jersey.
Fetty’s manager released a statement soon after the crash took place. It was revealed that Fetty met a motorcycle accident and was treated at a local hospital. Hs manager also said that Fetty’s family members wanted to thank everyone for their unconditional support and love. However, the family also requested for privacy and said that they would be updating his fans with Fetty’s condition.
On Sunday, Fetty, 25, shared a clip for all his followers and fans on Instagram where he shared that he has a broken leg in three different places, after the cops communicated that his bike had crashed with a car near his home on Saturday afternoon, as reported by CBS News.
Wap thanked his fans for praying for his recovery in his clip. He said though he met an accident, he would be alright very soon.
He also mentioned in his accompanying caption that he was told not to make a clip but since he is breathing, so he felt that he should update his fans that he will soon be back.
Policemen are however suggesting that Wap had been driving, though he did not have a license. His motorcycle crashed with a car and the lady who was driving it was also injured during the process. It seems Wap was unable to produce his registration card and did not have insurance for his motorcycle.
Willie Maxwell a.k.a. Wap has been recently awarded as an “Artist to watch” and released his maiden album just last Friday.
