According to Bustle, at the party of Shannon, Vicki and women end up in a fight over the reasons of Brooks’ illness. They all question her about cancer and diagnosis. They have doubt about his illness and Heather Dubrow especially speaks to Vicki in private but have no other information. No housewife has realized that this whole scene is affecting her adversely.

After which, she eventually breaks down during lunch with Heather elaborating how everyone is repeatedly asking same things. Shannon gave her same advice like Heather to reveal the diagnosis sheet to bring this at the end and all will stop making false theories about Brooks’ illness.

Maybe his illness is a plain attention seeking scoop or it might not but if everyone stops talking about Brooks, it will not be an issue anymore.
