Vicki Gunvalson and Brooke Ayers, who is Bravo’s famous couple and the stars of ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County” (RHOC), are not engaged. Gunvalson released an open statement via Facebook to make the situation clear once and for all. Read on.
Ayers has always been known to be a difficult person to live with. He has, after all, admitted to cheating on Gunvalson and has even had a physical altercation with her. Despite all this, Gunvalson still chose to be with Ayers all through his time of illness as a good partner.
Fans, too, were extremely sympathetic to Ayers, who was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year, and was undergoing treatment at City of Hope, in Duarte, California. So it wasn’t very surprising when some magazines reported that the couple had finally decided to get engaged.
Numerous rumors started doing rounds. Some said that Gunvalsoni’s daughter, Briana, who was still not comfortable around Ayers was seeing red over the relationship. It was insinuated that Briana thought that Ayers was only using Gunvalson as his nursemaid and would dump her if he got better.
Other magazines took a different stand and blamed Briana for not understanding her mother’s needs and not giving the couple a chance at happiness. Some sources reported that Gunvalson and Ayers were finally “talking marriage.” Well, it turns out, they weren’t and Vicki was really annoyed with the reports.
According to Inquisitr, Gunvalson was so annoyed with the reports that she issued a public statement through Facebook on the matter. She said that it saddened her that media would publish such blatant lies to attract more visitors to their website.
“I have always been very honest and forthcoming on the show and with my fans and if something this important were true, you would be the first to know,” Gunvalson declared on her facebook page.
Gunvalson’s fans were sympathetic and many wrote back to her saying that they understood her position.
