On Monday, Teresa Giudice received a federal indictment. The star of Real Housewives of New Jersey said after being indicted that she as well as her entire family was entering a very difficult time. However, she hinted that her current legal problems would not keep her from appearing on the show.
Giudice is best known for a freak out she had on the show that was heavily bleeped due to its content, including a table flip. That scene took place during the finale in season 1.
Giudice, along with Joe, her husband, has been accused of conspiring to defraud their lenders during the proceedings of their bankruptcy. Both could face as many as 30 years behind bars if convicted.
Giudice wrote on Twitter that the time was most difficult for the family; she supported her husband as a great father and husband and knows he wants just the best for her and their lovely daughters.
She did not appear ready to put plans for TV on hold, however. The show Real Housewives is currently in season 5, although many of the reality shows film their episodes much in advance of the dates they are aired.
A spokesperson for Bravo, said no comment would be forthcoming from the network.
The reality star added that she was committed to her family and intended to continue their lives the best way they could, which includes continuing her career.
Because of that, Giudice said she was hopeful the matter could be resolved as quickly as is possible.
Giudice, in addition to her role in Real Housewives, has written a number of bestseller cookbooks.
Giudice’s attorney said that she will make her first appearance in court on Tuesday and will be pleading not guilty.
