The “Real Housewives” TV franchise continues in expanding its reach through the domestic and international installments. Some of the countries with their own upcoming programs outside the United States are set in Sydney, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Toronto, Canada.
“Real Housewives of Auckland”
It seems that the Down Under can’t get enough of the most-watched TV series because it has landed a spinoff, RHOAKL. It is the first spin-off of its Melbourne predecessor.
According to NZ Herald, the RHOAKL cast members are fashion designer Angela Stone, Ann Batley-Burton, model Michelle Blanchard, ad exec Gilda Kirkpatrick, multi-talented Julia Sloane and former host
“Real Housewives of Auckland” Season 1 will air on August 2016 on Bravo.
“Real Housewives of Sydney”
RHOSydney is the third and latest installment of the reality TV series set in New Zealand and Australia. In May 2016, the Arena network announced that the casting for the Sydney version is currently under wraps.
“Real Housewives of Sydney” will premiere next year.
“Real Housewives of Toronto”
RHOToronto, which will air on Slice, will premiere on the channel’s winter schedule in 2017. This is not the first RH version in Canada as the same network broadcasted the 2012 “Real Housewives of Vancouver” until its cancellation a year later.
According to the network’s official site, the brand-new series will also follow the premise of the original and other RH series. RHOToronto will give viewers a glimpse in the luxurious lifestyle of some of the wealthiest women in the Canadian city of Toronto. There are still o updates on the official cast members but several sites have concluded their own dream cast.
