“Red Band Society” Season 1 Episode 2 “Sole Searching” airs on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at 9:00 pm on FOX. The upcoming episode promises to be an interesting one, as it will be picking up from where we left our protagonists. Exclusive sneak peak clips and pictures on Spoiler TV show us an interesting picture as to what will be happening on the second episode. WARNING! This article contains spoilers. Read on only if you want to know more about this episode.

The exclusive sneak peak clips on Spoiler TV gave us an interesting look at how Jordi Palacios (Nolan Sotillo) and Kara (Zoe Levin) were holding up at the hospital, and it also inadvertently revealed something about Emma Chota (Ciara Bravo).

In the first exclusive clip, the narrator, Charlie (Griffin Gluck), introduced the viewers to Kara’s mothers — Sara (Andrea Parker) and Danielle, who just so happen to be one of the most powerful lesbian couples in Southern California. They had not been there on time when Kara first had her heart attack, as the couple were on a romantic get away. It is also revealed that Kara’s biological mother, Sara, had gone off and married her nanny. Sara then asked the orderly who was checking on Charlie who she should talk to to get on the “list” in order for Kara to get her new heart fast. The orderly tries to explain that in the hospital, and when it comes to organ donations, there is no preferential treatment. Moreover, Kara’s case also had to be reviewed first. However, it seems like Sara does not find that acceptable, as she was always used to getting her own way done.

In the second clip, Jordi Palacios (Nolan Sotillo) is being prepped for his surgery by his doctor, Dr. Jack McAndrew (Dave Annable). Dr. McAndrew explained  that they are just waiting for the blood banks and for the anesthesiologist to come in. He also jokes around with Jordi, noting that Emma has doodled on Jordi’s legs, indicating which leg is to be cut off. He also instructs Jordi to pick a happy thought while they wait, and he teases him a little about Emma.

In the final clip, Kara barges into Emma’s room and grabs some magazines on Emma’s table, demanding to read them and to stay in her room so that she could read in peace. Emma makes it clear that she did not like Kara, especially as it seemed like Kara was always mean and did not care about anything. However, Emma told Kara that she can stay for twenty minutes if she tells a truth about herself. Dodging that, Kara decides to ask Emma a question first. She askes about the picture that Emma had, which showed Emma and her father wearing a couple shirt that said “Me and Mini Me.” Emma reveals that she and her father used to do many things together before she got sick. However, when her eating disorder became obvious, everything was concentrated on her and her sickness. Kara then tells that that was nice, as her own mother only cared about her when it benefitted her. Emma then allowes Kara to stay for twenty minutes in her room.

Spoiler TV also posted some exclusive pictures of the upcoming episode. In the picture set, Leo Roth (Charlie Rowe) will be attending a frat party and will meet a pretty blonde girl there. However, in another picture, it is shown that Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) is helping Leo out through a difficult moment, as he is pictured on the edge of his bed and looking unhappy.
