The film industry has been lacking girl power as of late, but Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara are about to change that as they star in the action comedy — “Hot Pursuit.” Read on to know more about the details of this scoop.
Reese Witherspoon recently starred in a backpacking-centric movie where she goes on a journey of self discovery in “Wild.” She has earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in her role as Cheryl. The Oscar-nominated actress also had her continuous exposure in the big screen as she also starred in “Inherent Vice” and “The Good Lie.” Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara had a lot on her plate as well as she co-starred in Jon Favreau’s hearty family movie “Chef.” But now, the two come together as Witherspoon sets aside the seriousness and gets on her southern spunk with a strong sense of justice as she takes on the role of a police officer who is assigned to protect a highly valuable witness played by Sofia Vergara in “Hot Pursuit.”
“We have been set up, shot at and hunted down.” — The trailer for “Hot Pursuit” is one hot mess filled with everything bad ass about two women who are being hunted down by a dirty drug cartel runner. The two-minute, 33 second trailer packs a lot of comedic antics and action sequences brought to the viewers by actresses Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. The two depict the total opposite of the other, but when they are combined, they bring in out a hearty laugh that would likely bring joy to the crowd. There is even the never-ending mention of Witherspoon’s shortness and Vergara’s seasoned looks as their escape made them suspects of an ongoing investigation.
