Finally, after much waiting “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” is make a comeback with Milla Jovovich starring as the kick-ass zombie-slayer Alice, and here is the first sight at her new badass look.
Star Milla Jovovich took to Instagram to reveal the first photo of makeup test from the Cape Town, South Africa set, which displayed some bloody neck injuries, and as cited by comingsoon.net, the actress also shared another photo with makeup artist Christina Smith making a large wound on her face alongside husband and director Paul W.S. Anderson.
It seems like with the role of a killing machine, the female lead Alice will be surrounded with blood in the forthcoming thriller franchise, while Jovovich also tagged the picture as ‘#moreblood.’
Meanwhile, the 39-year-old star also revealed another photo that featured a yellow tag with the word “HERO” written on it. Grounded on the wording Jovovich mentioned that the principal photography will begin later this week.
Initially, production for “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” was suppose to start last summer, but it was detained because of Milla Jovovich’s pregnancy. However, the production is slated to begin later this week in South Africa and we can expect more official update from the lead actress ones the filming begins.
Many of franchise beloved are also set to get back for this last issue (as the name suggest) of “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” cited comicbook.com. Wentworth Miller will repeat his role as Chris Redfield and characters Alice, including Jill, Leon, Claire, Chris, and more infiltrate the Hive must return to stop the Red Queen from destroying the entire human race while Paul W.S. Anderson will continue directing the installment.
Now-a-days, the series is the exorbitant earning franchise rooted on a video game, with over $915 million at the worldwide box office across the five films. The last film in this franchise which hit the theater was “Resident Evil: Retribution” in 2012.
