We know that most of you were wondering what happened in the Season 3 finale of “Revenge.” Emily (Emily VanCamp) had the chance to kill Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), but did she not do it? You see, if you had so much hatred in your heart like Emily, revenge is meaningless when the one you are trying to punish is already dead. How would that person feel your wrath if he or she is already six feet under? What do you do? You make your enemy suffer. Perhaps that explains why Emily had Victoria locked up in a mental asylum. Who would believe her that she is sane? They always say they are even if it is obvious that they are not. WARNING! This article contains “Revenge” Season 4 spoilers. Read at your own risk.
We all know that David Clarke was back from the grave, and he did something to Conrad (Henry Czerny). Sunil Nayyar, “Revenge” showrunner, confirmed to TV Line that Conrad was not dead. At least, not yet. However, he was in pretty bad shape in that road where David left him. Nayyar discussed how their team is still figuring out how David would get back to the Hamptons. Will Emily see him first or Victoria?
Another interesting character is Charlotte (Christa B. Allen). We watched how she managed to get Jack (Nick Wechsler) locked up because of his participation in her abduction. The poor woman still does not know who her sister is. Nayyar mentioned this part as a great offering in Season 4.
The main showrunner of “Revenge” also mentioned Jack and about him being the moral center of the show.
“He could give up Emily, Nolan and Aiden — or he could just blame Aiden, now that he’s dead. Or he could keep it all to himself, carry the weight of it and let Charlotte hate him so that he can protect the relationship that maybe she’ll have someday with Emily,” said Nayyar in the TV Line report.
Meanwhile, according to the scoop from E! Online, “Revenge” Season 4 will be a little different from what we have seen in Season 3. In Season 3, the writers were allowed to do the unexpected. However, for Season 4, Nayyar emphasized that they might not do it.
